How to use TPI M200 plaster to create a smooth, crack-free wall.
- Prepare the surface: Clean the brick wall to remove any dust, oil stains, or debris. Importantly, water the brick wall until it is sufficiently damp. Before plastering, apply a sealant to prevent the bricks from absorbing water from the mortar (the main cause of hairline cracks).
- Mixing plaster: mix TPI M200 ready-mixed plaster Mix 1 bag (50 kg) with 11-12 liters of clean water. Use a drill with a mixing blade or a shovel to mix thoroughly until the cement is smooth and uniform. Let it stand for about 5 minutes, then stir again.
- Plastering and stuccoing: Use a trowel or plastering trowel to apply plaster to the wall to the desired thickness (a thickness of approximately 1-1.5 centimeters is recommended).
- Scraping and aerating the water: Use a trowel to smooth the surface. Let the plaster dry slightly, then use a damp sponge to apply water to the wall (beat the water in) while using a wooden trowel to smooth the surface.
- Wall curing: After the plastering is complete and the mortar has set, the wall should be cured by spraying water for at least 3-7 days to ensure maximum wall strength.

For lightweight concrete block projects, we recommend... TPI M210 Lightweight Plaster It's best to have one that's specifically designed for that purpose.
