How to use TPI M500 tile adhesive to meet standards.
- Preparing the site: Clean the surface to be tiled thoroughly, ensuring it is free of dust, oil, paint, or mortar debris. (If the surface is uneven, level it.) TPI M400 self-leveling mortar. (Before laying the tiles)
- Mix cement glue: Mix 1 bag (20 kg) of TPI M500 tile adhesive with 4.8 liters of clean water. Stir until smooth. Let it stand for a while to allow the chemicals to cure, then stir again.
- Spread and coat: Use a notched trowel to spread the adhesive mortar onto the surface to a thickness of approximately 5 millimeters, dragging it in grooves to distribute the cement evenly.
- Installing tiles: Place the tiles on the tile adhesive. Press or gently tap with a rubber mallet to ensure a tight fit. You can adjust and align them before the adhesive sets.
- clean: Wipe away any cement stains that may have gotten on the tile surface immediately and let it dry completely before grouting.
