Weber Tile Vis adhesive cement

One-component tile adhesive, easy to use, just mix with water. Contains cement, specially selected sand, and special chemicals for laying tiles on floors and cement walls.

Suitable for: Ceramic tiles, terracotta tiles

Usage volume: 

• Average 4 sq m per 20 kg bag.
• Average 5 sq m per 25 kg bag.

How to use

Surface preparation:

• The surface must be smooth, hard, level, clean, dry and have normal water absorption.
• If the surface is very porous (high water absorption), it is necessary to wet and saturate the surface with water before laying the tiles.
• If the surface is a plastered or newly applied cement wall: the standard curing time (i.e. 7 days per 1 cm. of thickness) should be allowed before laying tiles.

Mixing

Mix Webertile Vis cement glue with water at a ratio of 1:3 by volume (1 part water to 3 parts cement glue). Use a high-speed blender to blend until smooth, or divide and mix a little at a time and stir thoroughly until the glue does not clump. Leave for 3-4 minutes before use.

Tiling

1. Use a trowel to spread the cement glue onto the surface.
2. If the tile is larger than 10x10 inches, spread a thin layer of cement glue over the back of the tile.
3. Lay the tiles on the cement glue and tap them all over with a rubber hammer.
4. Wipe off any cement glue that has leaked out of the grout lines and that has stained the surface of the tiles.
5. Customize your tiles in 5 minutes
6. Leave for 24 hours before grouting.

Shelf life and storage

1 year from the date of manufacture, in unopened condition and stored in a cool, dry, humid place with good ventilation. (If you don't use up all the bag, you must tie the bag tightly.)
