How to mix TPI red cement for concrete pouring.
- Prepare the ingredients: Prepare TPI red lime, coarse sand (clean and free of mud), crushed stone, and clean water.
- Measuring ratios: For general structural work, a cement ratio of 1 part cement : 2 parts coarse sand : 4 parts aggregate (1:2:4) is recommended.
- Mixing: Mix the cement, sand, and aggregate thoroughly while dry. Then, gradually add clean water, stirring constantly until the concrete reaches the desired consistency—neither too runny nor too viscous.
Pouring and curing: Once the concrete has been poured into the formwork, it should be vibrated to compact it. After the concrete has set, it should be "cured" by watering it or covering it with moist burlap for at least 7 days to prevent cracking and achieve maximum compressive strength.
